The perfect guide for Gemini Season

Nymph of the Woods  |  Charles Louis Müller (French, 1815 - 1892)

Ahh, the season of the social butterfly.

So this article might be a little fashionably late, but just on theme with Gemini Season that’s been because of being socially occupied! Better done than not, I say!

If you’re new to Astrology, or just want a refresher, here’s your complete guide to welcoming in this energy!

Here’s what I’m covering in this article:

  1. Understanding Gemini; the twins

  2. What to expect

  3. Your questionnaire

  4. 5 tips for moving through this Gemini Season

Understanding Gemini; The Twins

Gemini is a mutable air sign, and like all mutable signs will be wrapping up one season to move into the next; the season of Spring to help us move into the season of Summer. Gemini is symbolized by The Twins and spans from May 20th to June 20th.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the Messenger God. In Greek mythology that is Hermes, although the original myth behind Gemini is not based from the Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses but rather the unconditional love between two twins brothers Castor and Pollux; the Dioskouroi, meaning 'sons of Zeus'.

Gemini energy is all about;

  • Communication

  • The Mind

  • Curiosity

  • Variety

  • Experimenting

  • Being flexible

  • Short term travel

  • Energetic

  • Being flighty

  • S-O-C-I-A-L

Gemini is the social butterfly, the networker that creates connections by communicating with others. And Gemini takes us out of the blooms of Spring into the harvests of Summer.

After all of that consistent dedication through Taurus Season, Gemini gets to talk now, to not be so focused on building like earth signs, but rather connecting with others through learning how to relate, to communicate, to learn.

You know that town gossip that talks all that mad shit and knows everything about everyone’s business and doesn’t know when to just shut up? A Gemini.

If you’re a Bridgerton fan, Lady Whistledown is a classic Gemini.

What to expect

Gemini is really the perfect season for learning social intelligence, how to converse with others, and to explore many different topics.

Gemini is a mutable air sign. So, I find that this energy can be most difficult for fixed signs; Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Fixed signs are incredibly slow to change and Gemini is the exact opposite. In fact, much like Sagittarius, it can be hard to commit when there is such an excess of energy seeking expression and exploration.

Open up

So, get comfortable being exposed to different view points and don’t try to change anyone’s way of thinking.

Let them come and go and witness them. We are all so similar yet so different and there’s a special beauty in that which Gemini is naturally aware of.

Also, allow yourself to explore.

Your passions and curiosities deserve attention, just as much as work, money, and productivity get attention in our society.

Expect to open up to social fun-ness (yes, that’s totally a real word, you can find it in the Gurjot dictionary).

This energy requires a certain amount of openness and child-like curiosity to navigate without resistance.

If that doesn’t come naturally to you, now is the best time to feel into it and loosen up.

Now that we’ve covered that, here are a few questions to ask yourself during Gemini Season to have the best time moving through this energy.

Your Questionnaire

  1. What is your relationship to communicating?

    • Do you have healthy communication skills? Are you self-expressed? I find many people aren’t, so this is a good question to help you dive deeper.

    • Why or why not? What are the fears and limitations holding you back from authentic self-expression?

  2. How open-minded are you truly?

    • An honest, self check-in

  3. Do you allow yourself to explore new topics and new perspectives?

    • Versatility in learning and discovering new things brings a very Gemini zest to life

  4. How well do you socialize?

    • Socializing requires a social intelligence and being able to relate to others.

  5. How much do you connect to and allow your inner child to play?

    • Gemini energy is very playful and rather mischievous. This is the energy that allows us to enjoy life and not be so serious!

5 tips for moving through this Gemini Season

  1. Lighten the fuck up and have some fun!!!

    • Engage your inner child and in playfulness.

  2. Learn something new

    • Gemini energy is easily bored and trying new things is a must.

  3. Don’t be afraid to socialize

    • This is a good time to get out of the comfort zones in social situations!

  4. Communicate openly!

    • A great time to work on any issues with self-expression.

  5. Have a go to grounding routine

    • Gemini energy is very restless.

    • For emotional people, people who need structure, and people who get overly-stimulated easily, having a routine that grounds this very quick moving and slightly chaotic energy is important!

This article took absolutely forever, haha! ;(

I did not want to write this one, and in typical Gemini energy was a bit all over the place, even though I know better!

Not blaming the sign lol, it’s just a cosmic energy that can subtly influence our life. I’m aware because I’m highly sensitive to it now and to energetic imprints + archetypes, so I can observe what subtle changes might be happening!

You may or may not resonate. Take it or leave it, totally up to you!

How was Gemini Season for you? Leave a comment and let me know.

And all too soon, we have Cancer Season upcoming, so stay tuned for that one.

I’ll see you in the future, my friends.

XOXO
